News from the Children &
Family Workers
October 2009:
'Messy Church' on 27th September was a great success, with about 80 people (children and parents) learning about harvest, love & loyalty by looking at the story of Ruth. The afternoon included crafts, a short worship session and a meal.
August 2009: Hot news!!! Another 'first'.....due to demand we will be introducing an extra Tots session on Thursday mornings from 10.00 to 11.30am. We begin on 10th September and would like to hear from anyone who is willing to help. We are thinking positively and hope to have a rota of helpers! Please speak to Pauline or Petra if you think you might be able to help. "Showstoppers Here We Come!" Around fifty children and 20 leaders
and helpers enjoyed three action packed mornings at Guiseley Methodist
Church. Creation, Christmas and Easter formed the basis of story
telling, practical activities, games, crafts, cooking and a sing-a-long
with the Hands Up Puppet Company.

But suffice to say, it will be an all age
